Since 1949, Dr. Rózsa has been lecturer (and since 1968 professor) at various universities (Miskolc University, Eötvös Loránt University, Budapest University of Technology). He was guest professor at different universities abroad, including the Technische Universitaet Braunschweig (Germany), McMaster University (Hamilton, Ontario, Canada), University of Calgary (Calgary, Alberta, Canada), George Washington University (Washington D.C.USA), and Universita di Pisa (Italy). He has published more than 100 scientific papers in the field of matrix theory and its applications, in particular in the field of structured matrices (spectral properties and structural properties of the inverse of block matrices of special kind), transitive matrices and their applications in Operations.
Research, singular value decomposition of the Sylvester-Kac matrix, etc. He has published a book on Linear Algebra and its applications (in Hungarian) the fourth edition of which is under press at present. Since 1995 he is Professor Emeritus.
