Interested in putting your research and writing to the test? McDaniel College, Budapest is holding its second McDaniel Research Prize, to give you a chance to show off the research and writing you' ve done in Budapest and hear others share theirs. All students enrolled in the McDaniel College, Budapest program are entitled to enter the competition.
The competition consists of two stages: 1) a written submission to be judged by members of the faculty; 2) for the top three written submissions, an oral presentation at an Open Forum, to be judged by a jury of faculty members and your student peers.

Guidelines for entries

7-10 pages (not including endnotes and visuals)

a research paper resulting from a McDaniel course assignment* (*Any entries from Study Abroad students must be based on research done in Budapest.) These papers can come from any discipline. Pieces of creative writing are not accepted.

must include proper citations and references in the form of endnotes. (A separate sheet with the required referencing style (Chicago style) is available in Room 226 or on the mcedaniel.hu website.)
