McDaniel College Budapest

Prize Won
Art history was especially well represented this year in the finals of the McDaniel Prize competition—and one of those art history papers came away the winner.

Jessica Ross won the McDaniel Prize for her work True Colors: Lessons from the Ethnographic Turn in Art. Samuel Ogundero and Caila White placed runners up with their works, respectively, The Status of Democracy in African Countries, and The French Barbizon Connection with Hungarian Naturalist Painters Munkácsy and Páal. All three works generating lively post-talk discussions.
